Introduction
Welcome to Clientverse — an open source, self-hosted CRM designed to help you manage contacts, deals, and customer relationships with full data ownership.
What is Clientverse?
Clientverse is an open source, self-hosted Customer Relationship Management (CRM) application that runs on your own server. It provides an intuitive interface for tracking contacts, companies, deals, and activities. Because it's self-hosted, your customer data stays entirely under your control — no third-party services involved.
Key Concepts
Contacts
Contacts are the core of Clientverse. Each contact record stores essential details such as name, email, phone number, company, and custom fields. Contacts can be linked to companies, deals, and activities to give you a complete view of every relationship.
Companies
Companies represent the organizations your contacts belong to. You can associate multiple contacts with a single company, track company-level deals, and maintain notes about each organization.
Deals
Deals track your sales opportunities through a customizable pipeline. Each deal has a stage (e.g., Lead, Qualified, Proposal, Negotiation, Closed Won, Closed Lost), an expected value, and a close date. Move deals through stages as they progress to keep your pipeline up to date.
Activities
Activities let you log interactions with contacts and companies — calls, emails, meetings, and tasks. Scheduling and tracking activities ensures no follow-up falls through the cracks.
