Application Settings

Administrators can configure application-wide settings that affect how Clientverse works for all users.

Accessing Application Settings

Application settings are available only to administrators. Navigate to Settings in the application menu to access them.

General Settings

Application Name

Customize the name displayed in the application header and browser title. This is useful if you want to brand Clientverse for your organization.

Default Language

Set the default language for new user accounts. Individual users can override this in their personal settings.

Default Currency

Set the default currency used for deal values and revenue reports. Individual users can override this in their personal settings.

Date Format

Choose how dates are displayed throughout the application. Common formats include:

  • YYYY-MM-DD — 2025-01-15
  • DD/MM/YYYY — 15/01/2025
  • MM/DD/YYYY — 01/15/2025

Pipeline Settings

Deal Stages

Customize the stages that deals move through in your sales pipeline. You can add, rename, reorder, or remove stages to match your workflow.

Default Probabilities

Assign a win probability to each pipeline stage to enable weighted revenue forecasting. For example, "Proposal" might be 50% while "Negotiation" might be 75%.

Security Settings

Session Timeout

Configure how long a user session lasts before requiring re-authentication. Shorter timeouts are more secure but less convenient.

Password Requirements

Set minimum password requirements for user accounts, such as minimum length and complexity rules.

User Registration

By default, only administrators can create new user accounts. This ensures that only authorized people have access to your Clientverse installation.

Tip: For team deployments, create individual accounts for each user rather than sharing credentials. This ensures proper audit trails and accurate activity attribution.

Database Settings

Database configuration is typically set during installation. If you need to change your database connection settings, edit the configuration file on the server.

Caution: Modifying database settings incorrectly can make Clientverse inaccessible. Always back up your configuration and database before making changes.
